Summary:
This role is based in a professional, business-casual office environment and involves handling and reviewing public complaints. The candidate will communicate with complainants, analyze issues by interpreting Florida statutes, and determine case outcomes.

Work Environment:
Professional office setting with a business casual dress code; cubicle-based workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact constituents/complainants to discuss the details of filed complaints.
• Review applicable state statutes and compare them with complaints to analyze issues.
• Communicate effectively with the public; strong customer service skills are essential.
• Inform complainants of the Division's jurisdiction and explain case closure decisions and reasons.
• Provide appropriate resources or referrals when necessary.
• Prepare and send written correspondence to complainants upon supervisor approval.
• Close cases by entering appropriate codes, activities, and statutes in Versa.
• Accurately document all actions in the OnBase system.

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes.
• Prior experience working with the public in a professional environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to commit to and meet project timelines.
