Responsibilities

Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Business Data Analyst II to work for our company.

Summary

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• Provides support in collecting and organizing information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
• Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
• Provides support in performing financial and administrative tasks.
• Under general supervision, is responsible for preparing and/or maintaining systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures and methods.
• Maintains a current internal documentation library.
• Provides or coordinates special documentation services as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, technical documentation, or a related field.
• Must have experience with the following programs: MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, Power Point.

Preferences

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to edit and review functional descriptions, system specifications, reports, and customer deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Experience supporting financial and administrative reporting activities, including data organization and tracking.
• Experience working in government, federal contracting, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools or reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Experience supporting technical teams with documentation and operational processes.
