We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our shop, responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming and clean environment for our guests. Whether you are a seasoned coffee pro or eager to learn the craft, we want someone who brings a positive attitude to every shift.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service: Greet every customer with a friendly attitude, answer questions regarding our menu, and provide personalized recommendations.
Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to our quality standards and recipes.
Order Management: Accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card transactions.
Food Preparation: Serve baked goods and light snacks, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the espresso bar, dining area, and restrooms clean and organized throughout your shift.
Inventory & Restocking: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, cups, and milks, and restock supplies as needed.
Equipment Care: Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
Experience: Previous barista or customer service experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit within the first 14 days of employment.
Skills: Strong communication skills, basic math skills for cash handling, and a genuine passion for coffee.
