About you and this role Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Center of Expertise (CoE) Consultant within the Talent CoE of the Global Human Resources organization! This position can be located at any one of Dow's major hub locations. As Dow evolves our performance and continuous learning culture towards a skills-valued focus, you will be the key subject matter and functional expert in strategy and design, will apply and leverage your expertise and understanding of leading practices in your areas of focus, and design approaches aligned with Dow's business strategy and in support of our ambition. You will bring outside-in perspective and build your expertise founded on market intelligence. You will also define the program and policy requirements within your area of discipline for the purpose of enhancing the employee experience and maintaining a business competitive advantage. This will require collaboration with other CoE disciplines to support an integrated strategy. Responsibilities
  • In conjunction with the Head of Talent, lead the design, enhancement and ongoing management of Dow's performance culture, enterprise skills framework, and the work across teams to connect these to Dow's people practices such as talent development and talent acquisition.
  • Lead the approach to assess, analyze, and identify the skills and competencies required for various job roles, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Regularly update the skills framework to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends, and ensuring alignment to business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a structured framework for skills development, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • Defines high-level framework of HR philosophy, policies, and programs globally to enable the employee experience and drive business growth for Dow.
  • Develops creative solutions to compensation-related challenges that balance business considerations with retention, employee experience and engagement objectives.
  • Provides an end-to-end (E2E) focus to break down siloes within CoE and across HR.
  • Ensures HR philosophies, strategies, and employee offerings are aligned with Dow Strategy.
  • Monitors success of program and policies against ROI targets and adjusts as employee experience and business requirements dictate.
  • Builds enterprise capability, utilizing expertise and acts as a thought leader in their area internally and externally.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience.

Preferred Skills
  • A Masters degree or higher education in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field.
  • Experience with design and delivery of performance management, talent development programs and processes, and skills framework development.
  • Consulting or client focused HR experience in talent management.
  • Proven ability to turn strategic concepts to tangible products and a track record of successful implementation.
  • Successful management and coordination of project teams.
  • Proven change management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly collaborative style, with strong consultative and customer-oriented skills across geographical boundaries and cultures.
